STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
The Richmond City Council meets every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month unless special exceptions are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and
Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
APPROVE the cancellation of the December 24, 2024,
City Council meeting and the City Council holiday
schedule as follows: November 26, December 3, and 17,
2024, regular meetings; December 31, 2024, no meeting;
January 7, 2025, regular meeting; and January 14, 2025, Swearing-in Ceremony for the new City Councilmembers

DISCUSSION:
The Richmond City Council has regularly scheduled meetings every first, third, and fourth Tuesday of every month unless exceptions are indicated within the Charter, Council Rules and Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
