STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
On December 14, 2024, the Commission on Aging is
holding their Annual Senior Winter Ball. This is the 25th Anniversary of this Winter Ball and this proclamation
honors, appreciates and congratulates them on this event and all their ongoing work.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
PROCLAMATION Honoring the Commission on Aging on
the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of its Senior Winter Ball to be held on December 14, 2024 – Councilmember
Gayle McLaughlin (510-620-6636) and Mayor Eduardo
Martinez (510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
This year’s Senior Winter Ball, organized and sponsored by the Commission on Aging and Community Services – Recreation Division, is the 25th Anniversary of this event.
