A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, CALIFORNIA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING RELATED TO PARTNERSHIP FOR THE BAY’S FUTURE
POLICY FUND PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond applied for the Partnership for the Bay’s Future seeking a Housing Fellow to assist in the development of housing-related policies focused on Production, Preservation, and Protection; and
WHEREAS, the City of Richmond has been awarded a Housing Fellow to support this work; and
WHEREAS, the Grantee, City of Richmond, will enter into agreements with the San Francisco Foundation and Coro Northern California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Richmond:
1. Authorizes the City Manager or their designee to execute the required grant agreements, including a memorandum of understanding; and
2. Appoints the City Manager or their designee, as agent to conduct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents including, but not limited to applications, agreements, payment requests and so on, which may be necessary for the completion of the aforementioned project.
