Re: Residential and Commercial CPI Rate Adjustment effective January 1, 2025 through June 30, 2025 Dear Ms. Curl:
Pursuant to the Franchise Agreement between the City of Richmond and Richmond Sanitary Service, the collection service portion of the residential and commercial rates is being adjusted by 2.39% plus 0.86% CPI carryover from 2024 to equal 3.25% beginning January 1, 2025. At its meeting on November 7, 2024, the West Contra Costa Integrated Solid Waste Management Authority (WCCISWMA) established the 2025 post- collection Services rates. See attached for residential service and post collection rates.
As reflected in the attached rate charts, Commercial Collection and Special Service rates will be adjusted similarly as provided for in the Franchise and Post-collection Materials Processing agreements.
