Mayor Eduardo Martinez welcomed everyone to the Swearing-In Ceremony.

Present: Councilmembers Soheila Bana, Gayle McLaughlin, Doria Robinson, Cesar Zepeda, Melvin Willis, Vice Mayor Claudia Jimenez, and Mayor Eduardo Martinez.
Absent: None.
C. Invocation
Pastor Eric Morris, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church gave the invocation.
D. Best Wishes to Departing Councilmembers
Mayor Martinez and Councilmembers Bana, Robinson, Zepeda, and Vice Mayor Jimenez gave comments.
E. Acknowledgment of Service Awards/Proclamations to leaving Councilmembers
Mayor Martinez presented the service awards and proclamations. Harpreet Sandhu, representing the Office of John Garamendi and Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia also presented proclamations.
