RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPOINT Ode Kunthar to the Richmond Youth Council, term expires October 1, 2025 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor

DISCUSSION:
Ode Kunthar would be an invaluable asset to the Richmond Youth Council due to her extensive leadership experience, commitment to community service, and dedication to empowering diverse groups. As the founder of the Middle College High School AGENDA

Advocacy Club, she has demonstrated initiative and organizational skills by leading efforts that advocate for important causes. Her role as a Program Assistant at the Center for Empowering Refugees and Immigrants highlights her ability to support marginalized communities, while her internship with the Child Mind Institute Youth Mental Health Academy shows her commitment to addressing mental health issues affecting young people. Additionally, her volunteer work with ARTogether and her active participation in the Middle College High School Conservation & Community Service Committee underscore her dedication to making a tangible difference in her community.
