ISSUE:
Proclamation celebrating the Cinco de Mayo festivities
and honoring all the parties that worked diligently to
organize the Cinco de Mayo festival.

DISCUSSION:
The City of Richmond proudly honors the 17th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival, a celebration that commemorates the historic Battle of Puebla, Mexico, and has grown into a vibrant expression of Mexican-American culture and community spirit. Held in partnership with the City of San Pablo, this year’s festivities on May 4th brought together residents through music, dance, food, and art, highlighting the richness of Mexican heritage. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organizers, volunteers, and community members whose dedication ensures the continued success of this beloved tradition.
