DISCUSSION:

The Public Works Department is requesting that the City Council adopt a resolution approving with San Mateo Lawn Mower for the purchase of four (4) Toro 6000 Series mowers, for a cost not-to-exceed $72,200 (Attachment 1). City staff received and reviewed four (4) quotes from local vendors and identified San Mateo Lawn Mower as the lowest cost with the ability to provide the requested equipment.

A 10% contingency has been added for this purchase to account for potential cost variances related to taxes, fees, delivery charges, or unforeseen equipment needs such as attachments or upgrades necessary for operational compatibility. Including this contingency ensures the City can complete the procurement without delay and remain responsive to any minor adjustments required during the final purchasing process.

San Mateo Lawn Mower Shop (San
Mateo)
$16,399.29 ea
Josephs Lawnmower & Lock, Inc
