From its humble beginnings in the home of early members to its present-day location, the church has grown into a nationally recognized congregation. Under the leadership of historic figures like Bishop George W. “Dad” McGlothen and Dr. Mattie “Mom” McGlothen, the church extended its influence well beyond city borders, earning a lasting reputation for compassion and leadership within the faith community.

The City of Richmond is proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone and express its appreciation for the church’s continued dedication to uplifting residents and enriching the city’s spiritual and social fabric.
