LEASE TERMINATION NOTICE
Dear Ms. Curl:
This Lease Termination Notice (“Notice”) pertains to the Lease Agreement dated January 1, 2010, and amended on January 1, 2017 (together, the “Lease”) between West County Wastewater District ("Landlord"), and the City of Richmond & Richmond Municipal Sewer District ("Tenant"), whereby Tenant leases certain property owned by Landlord known as the East Site Sludge Lagoons.
On June 24, 2020, Tenant requested an extension of the Lease pursuant to Section 2.2.4 of the Agreement. The Fourth Extended Term, as that term is defined in the Lease, extends through December 31, 2025.
Section 2.3 of the Lease provides that "either Landlord or Tenant may terminate this Lease in their discretion upon one-year written notice to the non-terminating party." Pursuant to Section 2.3 of the Lease, Landlord hereby provides notice to Tenant that the Lease will terminate effective December 31, 2024.
This Notice does not relieve the City of payment of any financial obligation for rent owed until the actual date of termination of the tenancy.
