STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Joann Pavlinec is reapplying to serve on the History
Preservation Commission
RECOMMENDED ACTION: REAPPOINT Joann Pavlinec to the Historic Preservation Commission with a term that expires on July 31, 2029 –
Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Joann Pavlinec has served on the Historic Preservation Commission since 2013 and has expressed a desire to continue contributing her expertise to the preservation of Richmond’s historical and architectural heritage. With a B.A. in Architectural History, a Masters in Architecture, and a background as a retired city planner, Pavlinec brings valuable knowledge and practical experience to the commission. Her reappointment is recommended to maintain continuity and support the commission’s ongoing work in preserving Richmond’s cultural and historical assets.
