Subject: Port of Richmond’s Tariff No. 3 adjustments to selected items
Proposal:
The City of Richmond operates various terminal facilities at the Port of Richmond it is desirable to amend the Port of Richmond Terminal Tariff FMC No. 3 increasing rates on two selected items, a 1.15% on item 09195 wharfage rate and 1.05% increase on item 12230 storage rate, effective July 1, 2025. Additionally, the Port of Richmond is adding language associated with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) At-Berth (Title 17, California Code of Regulations, Section 93130) when calling at regulated berths. The tariff is adding new item 14115 fees associated with the regulation.
Justification: Rate increases keep the Port of Richmond current and competitive; this item is important to bill tariff fees appropriately and have supportive documentation as well as having updated environmental rules and regulations written into our tariff. This item will be going to the Richmond City Council in September 2025
