STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Danyell Manefee is applying to serve on the Community
Police Review Commission
RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPOINT Danyell Manefee to the Community Police Review Commission, with a term that expires on
November 1, 2028 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo
Martinez 510-620-6503).
DISCUSSION:
Danyell Manefee, a Richmond resident of 15 years, is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and trust between the community and law enforcement.
She seeks to support fair and impartial reviews of police conduct and to strengthen community-police relationships through her service on the Commission. Her dedication to equity and justice makes her a strong addition to the Community Police Review Commission.
