STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
Rauly Butler is applying to serve in a vacant seat on the Workforce Development Board
RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPOINT Rauly Butler to the Workforce Development Board with a term that expires on March 1, 2028 –

DISCUSSION:
Rauly Butler brings over 20 years of experience supporting Richmond’s business community and currently serves as Executive Director of the Council of Industries, a nonprofit representing many of the city’s major employers. His background in management and workforce development is complemented by leadership roles on several civic boards, including the Richmond Public Library Foundation, West Contra Costa Business Development Center, and Satellite Affordable Housing Associates. With a strong commitment to local economic growth and job creation, Mr. Butler will be a valuable asset to the Workforce Development Board.
