A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND
APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE CITY OF
RICHMOND AND EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTED BY IFPTE, LOCAL 21
WHEREAS, the Executive Management Employees are represented by the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), Local 21; and
WHEREAS, the City and IFPTE, Local 21 are required under the Meyers-Milias- Brown Act to meet and confer in good faith regarding wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment; and
WHEREAS, the City and IFPTE, Local 21, having met and conferred in good faith reached a total tentative agreement on a successor collective bargaining agreement for the Executive Management Employees; and
WHEREAS, the successor collective bargaining agreement has been ratified by the membership of IFPTE, Local 21 and the City Council is required to adopt the successor collective bargaining agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Richmond adopts the collective bargaining agreement set forth in Exhibit A between the City of Richmond and the Executive Management Employees represented by IFPTE, Local 21 and directs the City Manager or designee to update the publicly available salary schedule with the adopted wage increases during the term of the collective bargaining agreement.
