REASONS FOR INTEREST IN APPOINTMENT:
As a father of two young children, I am an avid park goer and have experienced firsthand how important our parks are for families and the community. I also volunteer as a coach for Richmond Baseball Little League, where we rely on local parks as safe and welcoming spaces for kids to play and grow. I believe parks serve as some of the last true "third spaces" in our society, places outside of home and work where people can come together, and that makes protecting and strengthening them especially important.
