In this TA, three (3) line segments are added per the City's request. It also includes the removal and replacement of an existing manhole.
Additionally, this TA includes two credits to the City: (1) replacing existing line segment using designer-approved 6" HDPE in lieu of 8"; and (2) replacing an existing structure with a rodding inlet in lieu of standard frame and cover. The above-mentioned costs, which have all been preapproved by the City via email, are summarized on page 2.
Further, due to the added lines, additional budget and authority for ESDC, testing and outreach have been requested.
The total additional authority requested is $347,751.34,which includes a 16.5% Veolia markup for the added scope, bringing the total project amount authorization to $6,554,348.

1) RFI #018. The existing VCP line segment had a lot of root intrusions and collapsed pipe. The concern is that the roots have surrounded the old VCP pipe and would not have gotten out bursting equipment stuck.

oving and replacing existing MH G7MH2736 and rerouting an existing sewer lateral and connecting it to the sewer main.

eason for Change:
1) The existing MH G7MH2736 was an old brick MH and needed to be replaced. Sewer lateral connected at the base of existing MH and since we were replacing said MH it was decided to reroute the lateral, so it connects to the sewer main. This avoids a future contractor, employed by the homeowner, to have to touch/modify a City owned/maintained structure.
