Jamin Pursell is applying for a seat on the Economic
Development Commission.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Appoint Jamin Pursell to an unexpired term on the
Economic Development Commission, term expires,
March 30 ,2027 – Mayor’s Office (Mayor Eduardo

DISCUSSION:
Jamin Pursell has direct experience as a local business owner and his long-term residency in Richmond. With 15 years in the city, he brings a practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing small and homegrown businesses. His stated focus on strengthening local spending, supporting small businesses, and fostering positive community engagement aligns well with the Commission’s role in advancing inclusive and sustainable economic development in Richmond.
