Peacekeeper
Bonowi
Based on an evaluation of quality and construction, performance and functionality, officer safety and ergonomics, vendor experience and reliability, and overall cost- effectiveness, Peacekeeper Expandable Batons were identified as the most suitable option (Attachment 1).

The Peacekeeper baton is widely recognized for its strength, consistent locking mechanism, and ability to withstand repeated use without structural failure. Its design allows for rapid deployment in high-stress situations and provides officers with a safer alternative to higher levels of force, aligning with department policy and state requirements emphasizing de-escalation and the use of the minimum necessary force.
Purchasing 125 Peacekeeper batons from Peacekeeper Products International in an amount not to exceed $32,000 will ensure that officers are equipped with reliable, modern defensive tools that support safe and effective field operations (Attachment 2).
