Diana Benitez has applied for an appointment to the Planning Commission. She brings professional experience as an Urban Planner with a focus on community development AGENDA

and planning. She currently serves as Treasurer for the American Planning Association California Chapter – Northern Section and as a Council member for the MTC-ABAG Community Advisory Council. Diana holds a master’s degree in urban and Regional Planning from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs, with a focus on Community Economic Development and Housing. Her application highlights her interest in contributing her expertise to support thoughtful and equitable development within the city.
