Sent on Behalf of Michael Martinez, Field Representative

Dear City of Richmond's Office of Neighborhood Safety,

We are pleased to inform you that the Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC) has officially approved a grant award of $2,000,000 to your organization during its meeting on February 12, 2026. For further details, please refer to the official press release https://www.bscc.ca.gov/events/board-meeting-agenda-02-12-2026/.

To proceed, with the contract process and verify eligibility for the funding, we will require several documents from you. Our team will reach out shortly to assist you in this process.

As outlined in the RFP, all awardees are expected to participate in a New Grantee Orientation.

This orientation will cover essential aspects of the program, including invoicing, budget modification processes, data collection, reporting requirements, and overall grant management and monitoring activities. I will provide additional details regarding this meeting soon. Please save the dates of April 28th & 29th 2026. Please be aware that since this meeting will occur after the grant's effective date, you are permitted to initiate your programs on or after April 1, 2026.

Thank you for your cooperation, and congratulations on this achievement!
