Qualifications, Experience, Methodology & References
Qualifications and Experience
Oldcastle Infrastructure performs inspection, maintenance, cleaning, and restoration of Hydrodynamic Separator (HDS) systems and other stormwater treatment devices as part of our daily operations throughout California. Our crews routinely inspect, clean, document, and restore HDS units to full operating condition while maintaining compliance with municipal stormwater requirements.

Our fleet includes both large-capacity and compact hydro excavation/vacuum trucks, allowing us to efficiently service a variety of HDS installations and site conditions. We have the personnel, equipment, and operational capacity to perform scheduled maintenance and respond to on-demand requests within the City's required response times.

Oldcastle Infrastructure routinely performs work within public rights-of-way and has extensive experience implementing traffic control in accordance with the California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CA MUTCD). Traffic control is provided by qualified personnel, either through Oldcastle Infrastructure or qualified third-party traffic control providers, depending on the specific requirements of each project and site conditions.

Oldcastle Infrastructure remains fully responsible for coordinating all traffic control activities and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.

Methodology and Approach
• Coordinate maintenance scheduling with the City.
• Mobilize the appropriate crew, hydro excavation/vacuum truck, and equipment. • Implement traffic control appropriate for the work location and site conditions. • Inspect the HDS unit and document pre-maintenance conditions. • Remove accumulated trash, debris, sediment, and floatables; flush or jet as needed. • Transport and dispose of collected material in accordance with applicable regulations. • Document completed work with before-and-after photographs and complete the City's maintenance report.
• Notify the City of any observed deficiencies or conditions requiring additional service.
