STATEMENT OF THE
ISSUE:
The Richmond City Council currently meets on the first, third, and fourth Tuesday of each month unless otherwise provided by the City Charter, Council Rules and
Procedures, or approved by the City Council.
Adjustments to the November and December 2026
meeting schedule require City Council approval.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: APPROVE a Special City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, and the cancellation of the
November 24, and December 22, 2026, Regular City
Council meetings – City Clerk’s Office (Pamela Christian 510-620-6513).
DISCUSSION:
The Richmond City Council generally holds regular meetings on the first, third, and fourth Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise provided by the City Charter, Council Rules and Procedures, or action of the City Council.
The regular City Council meeting scheduled for November 3, 2026, was previously cancelled due to the November 3, 2026, General Municipal Election. Approval of this item will add a Special City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, and AGENDA

cancel the regular meetings scheduled for Tuesday, November 24, 2026, and Tuesday, December 22, 2026. The next regular City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2027.
