POLICE BUDGET WORKSHOP
5.1 DEPARTMENT BUDGET- Review, discuss, and provide direction on Rio Vista Police Department operations, current department budget (Fiscal Year 2022-23), and highlights to upcoming Fiscal Year 2023-24 department budget.
Interim City Manager Carter and Finance Director Lee presented and facilitated the discussion regarding the City's police operations and budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23 as well as highlights to the upcoming Fiscal Year 2023-24.
5.2 PRESENTATION - SOLANO COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - Receive presentation from Sheriff-Coroner Tom Ferrara regarding extending contract between the City and Solano County Sheriff's Office for police services in the City of Rio Vista and provide direction to staff, if any.
Sheriff-Coroner Ferrara and his team presented and facilitated the discussion regarding the current and possible extension of the contract between the City and the Solano County Sheriff's Office for police services in the City of Rio Vista. Included in the presentation was a discussion regarding the services and benefits offered via the contract between the two agencies.

Mayor Kott adjourned the meeting at 5:54 p.m.
