Marketing and Promotion
The RCoC will list the City of Ripon as a sponsor and partner in the annual Almond Blossom Festival, Main Street Day and Christmas Parade. Each of these community wide events buoys the local business community by bringing thousands of visitors to Ripon as well as engaging Ripon residents.
The RCoC will keep the community informed on important community news, events, or alerts through avenues such as social media, the RCoC website, email newsletters, and Discover Ripon magazine.
Community Engagement
Host a City Council Candidate Forum before an election.
In lieu of a formal visitors bureau the RCoC will serve as an information center for both Ripon residents and visitors.
Printing resources for Ripon residents and visitors (maps, etc.) Economic Development
Work with City of Ripon Planning Director to maintain and advance the Economic Development Committee. Send meeting reminders, keep minutes and add members to the committee when necessary.
Participate in marketing the City's advantages inside and outside the community to attract desirable businesses thus adding to the economic vitality of Ripon.
Assist in the retention of quality businesses by providing advice and information to any existing businesses that may wish to remain or expand in Ripon.
Hosting educational workshops for businesses
In addition to the Base Donation described above, the RCoC can assist the City of Ripon by providing the following additional services specific to Fiscal Year 2022-23:
