RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with LDA Partners to provide Bidding Assistance and Construction Administration for the new Corporation Yard to be located on Doak Boulevard in the not to exceed amount of $144,875 (funding source: AB1600 Corporation Yard Capital Fund).
BACKGROUND:
At the December 10, 2019 City Council meeting, Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with LDA Partners in the not to exceed amount of $415,000 to provide Engineering and Architectural Design Services for the Corporation Yard Project. At this time, there are no contract funds remaining.
DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:
The new Corporation Yard is currently in the bidding phase with bid opening scheduled for November 17, 2022. Construction is anticipated to begin early 2023. The attached proposal is an amendment to the original Professional Services Agreement with LDA Partners to add Bidding Assistance and Construction Administration to the scope of work.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The first Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement has a not to exceed amount of $144,875 and will be funded through the AB1600 Corporation Yard Capital Fund. The current balance of this fund is $440,604.21.
