This resolution approves appointing Jeff Veilleux (currently serving as alternate) to Seat No. 5 on the Planning Commission and Steve Verver to Seat No. 6 as an alternate on the Planning Commission.
RESOLUTION NO. 23-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIPON CERTIFYING THE APPOINTMENT TO AND
SETTING THE TERM FOR VACANCY ON THE PLANNING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City of Ripon is desirous of filling the existing vacancies on the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, Jeff Veilleux has served as the alternate seat since March 2022; and WHEREAS, in 2022, the City advertised a vacancy on the Planning Commission and received applications from several qualified candidates; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has reviewed the applications again and selected from said candidates; and
WHEREAS, the persons being appointed have expressed their interest in serving on the Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ripon as follows:
PLANNING COMMISSION:
Appoints as a voting member to a 4-year term:
Jeff Veilleux Seat 5
Appoints as a new member to a 4-year alternate seat:
Steve Verver Seat 6 (alternate)
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ripon this 14th day of March, 2023, by the following vote:
