NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The City of Ripon City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday July 11, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Avenue, Ripon, on the following matter:
GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT (GPA22-96) - a public hearing on a request to change the City’s General Plan Land Use designations at 456 Maple Avenue and 552 N Wilma Avenue. The change would designate these areas as High School (S-HS) rather than High Low Density Residential (HLD) and Low Density Residential (LD). This change will allow for the rezoning of the properties to enable Ripon Christian School’s campus expansion. This project is Categorically Exempt from CEQA, pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15332.
PURSUANT TO SECTION 65009 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT IF SUCH PROPOSED
REZONE IS CHALLENGED IN COURT, SUCH CHALLENGES MAY BE LIMITED TO
ONLY THOSE ISSUES RAISED AT THE PUBLIC HEARING OR IN WRITTEN
CORRESPONDENCE DELIVERED TO THE CITY CLERK AT OR PRIOR TO THE PUBLIC HEARING.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES will be given an opportunity to appear and be heard by the City Council of the City of Ripon at said time and place pertaining to the above described matter.
