Subject: Reimbursement Agreement - Arc Way Development
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign the Arc Way Development Reimbursement Agreement that provides reimbursement for staff time and consultant costs to respond to an application for a major site plan permit for a proposed retail building, convenience market and gas station located at 769 Frontage Road (north/west corner of Arc Way and Frontage Road).
BACKGROUND:
In June of 2023, the City of Ripon received an application for a major site plan permit for a proposed retail building, convenience market and gas station located at 769 Frontage Road in the C2 (Community Commercial) district. After initial review of the application, staff reached out to a consultant for a proposal to process the necessary CEQA analysis and provide a limited traffic/circulation analysis for the project. The proposal was forwarded to the applicant along with a reimbursement agreement for the project. The reimbursement agreement will provide an opportunity for the City to get reimbursed for staff time and consultant management regarding project processing of the major site plan permit.
