RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with LDA Partners to provide additional design work to comply with South San Joaquin Irrigation District (SSJID) requirements for the new Corporation Yard to be located on Doak Boulevard in the not to exceed amount of $3,075 (funding sources: shared between Corporation Yard AB1600 Fund, Enterprise Capital Funds, and General Capital Fund).
BACKGROUND:
At the December 10, 2019 City Council meeting, Council approved the Professional Services Agreement with LDA Partners in the not to exceed amount of $415,000 to provide Engineering and Architectural Design Services for the Corporation Yard Project.
At the November 8, 2022 City Council Meeting, Council approved Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement in the not to exceed amount of $144,875 to provide Bidding Assistance and Construction Administration for the Corporation Yard Project.
DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:
SSJID required design changes to comply with requirements for work in their easement. In order to make these changes, LDA and their sub-consultants were required to perform additional design work. The purpose of this amendment is to expand LDA’s contract to include the additional design work required by SSJID.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement has a not to exceed amount of $3,075 and will be funded through the Corporation Yard AB1600 Fund, Enterprise Capital Funds, and General Capital Fund.
