HONORING THE RIPON CHRISTIAN HIGH SCHOOL
2023 ATHLETIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS
WHEREAS, the hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, talent and exceptional team chemistry of the 2023 Ripon Christian Girls' Varsity Volleyball, Boys' Varsity Football and Girls' Cross Country teams has enabled these student athletes to earn multiple championship titles; and WHEREAS, the Ripon Christian Girls' Varsity Volleyball team earned the titles of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Southern Athletic League Champions, CIF D-4 Sac- Joaquin Section Champions, CIF D-3 NorCal Champions, and CIF D-3 State Champions; and WHEREAS, the Ripon Christian Boys' Varsity Football team earned the titles of CIF Southern Athletic League Champions, CIF D-7A Sac-Joaquin Section Champions and CIF Sac- Joaquin Section Academic Team Champions; and
WHEREAS, the Ripon Christian Girls' Cross Country team earned the title of CIF Sac- Joaquin Section Academic Team Champions; and
WHEREAS, the coaching staff, team member parents, faculty and student body at Ripon Christian High School were integral in guiding the teams to victory through their unwavering support.
NOW, THEREFORE, 1, Leo Zuber, Mayor of the City of Ripon, do hereby recognize and heartily congratulate Ripon Christian High School on its outstanding accomplishments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ripon, speaking on behalf of all our people, publicly congratulate the Ripon Christian Girls' Volleyball team, Boys' Varsity Football team and Girls' Cross Country team on their accomplishments.
