The Special Meeting was called to order by Mayor Daniel de Graaf at 12:00 pm.

1. CLOSED SESSION
IN THE MATTER OF:
(1) Public Employment – City Attorney
City Attorney Terpstra joined the meeting at 1:30 PM.
Council Member Uecker left the meeting at 1:42 PM.
Return to open session.
City Attorney Terpstra said Council met in closed session to discuss the position of City Attorney. Deputy City Attorney Tom Terpstra Jr. was interviewed and ultimately selected to serve as City Attorney on a unanimous vote. Staff was directed to prepare a legal service agreement for the City Council’s consideration at the January 14, 2025 City Council Meeting. No other reportable action was taken.
