Subject: SKW & Associates- Meadowood
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve and authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with SKW & Associates to provide architectural review services for the Meadowood subdivision project.
Contract for services will be on a time and materials basis for the architectural review services with a not to exceed amount of $5,000 (funding source: Lennar Homes of California, LLC reimbursement account).
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to the Meadowood Development Agreement, that was approved and executed in 2018, all proposed homes within the development shall be submitted to the City of Ripon for architectural review. Along with City Staff reviewing all the floorplans and elevations, we also enlist the help of an architectural consultant, to assist with the review process. This is to ensure that all conditions of the development agreement and North Pointe Specific Plan are being met, but also to ensure that the homes to be built are quality homes that complement our community.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The fiscal impact to provide architectural review services for the Meadowood residential development project will be covered by the Developer (Lennar Home of California, LLC) through the reimbursement account for the project.
