NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The City of Ripon City Council will hold a public hearing at a meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. in the City of Ripon Council Chambers, 259 N. Wilma Avenue, Ripon, on the following mater:
ABANDONMENT OF 923 SOUTH ACACIA AVENUE– As declared in Resolution of Intention No. 25-2, adopted by the City Council on January 14, 2025, it is the intention of the City of Ripon to abandon and vacate a portion of public right-of-way adjacent to the property 923 South Acacia Avenue (APN 259-140-20), located north of Doak Boulevard, between South Stockton Avenue and Palm Avenue in the City of Ripon, County of San Joaquin, State of California. A map is available for viewing at the Office of the City Clerk at 259 N. Wilma Avenue Ripon, CA.
PURSUANT TO SECTION 65009 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN THAT IF SUCH PROPOSED
ABANDONMENT IS CHALLENGED IN COURT, SUCH CHALLENGE MAY BE LIMITED
TO ONLY THOSE ISSUES RAISED AT THE PUBLIC HEARING OR IN WRITTTEN
CORRESPONDENCE DELIVERED TO THE CITY COUNCIL AT OR PRIOR TO THE PUBLIC HEARING.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES will be given an opportunity to appear and be heard by the City Council of the City of Ripon at said time and place pertaining to the above described matter.
