HONORING THE RIPON HIGH SCHOOL
2024-2025 SPRING ATHLETIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS
WHEREAS, the hard work, dedication, sportsmanship, talent and exceptional team chemistry of the 2024-2025 Ripon High School Varsity Boys’ Track and Field team, the Varsity Girls’ Track and Field team and Starla Skiles has enabled these student athletes to excel in their respective sports; and
WHEREAS, the Ripon High School Varsity Boys’ Track and Field team earned the title of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 5 Sac-Joaquin Section Champions; and WHEREAS, the Ripon High School Varsity Girls’ Track and Field team earned the title of California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Division 5 Sac-Joaquin Section Champions; and WHEREAS, Starla Skiles, as part of the Track and Field team, placed ninth in the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Track Meet for the 300 hurdles; and WHEREAS, the coaching staff, team member parents, faculty and student body at Ripon High School were integral in guiding the student athletes to victory through their unwavering support.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Daniel de Graaf, Mayor of the City of Ripon, do hereby recognize and heartily congratulate Ripon High School on its outstanding accomplishments.
FURTHERMORE, the City Council of the City of Ripon, speaking on behalf of all our people, do hereby publicly congratulate the Ripon High School Varsity Boys’ Track and Field team, the Varsity Girls’ Track and Field team and Starla Skiles on their accomplishments.
