Subject: League of California Cities Conference delegates Determine if any Council Member(s) will be attending the annual conference in Long Beach from October 8-10, 2025. This year the League of California Cities Resolution Committee will not be bringing forth any resolutions for the voting delegates to vote on. However, the League of California Cities allows for petitioned resolutions. The petitioned resolution is an alternate method to introduce policy proposals during the annual conference. The petition must be signed by voting delegates from 10% of member cities, and submitted to the Cal Cities President at least 24 hours before the beginning of the General Assembly.
If Council Member(s) will be attending, designate the voting delegate and alternate voting delegate to attend the general assembly being held on October 9, 2025. (Conference cost: $725.00)

RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIPON DESIGNATING THE VOTING DELEGATE TO THE
LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WHEREAS, the League of California Cities annual conference will be held in Long Beach from October 8, 2025 through October 10, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the City of Ripon is desirous of designating the voting delegate to the League of California Cities annual business meeting at the closing General Assembly on October 10, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the person being appointed has expressed their interest in serving as a delegate to the annual conference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Ripon designates NAME as the Voting Member to the League of California Cities annual conference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Ripon this 9th day of September, 2025, by the following vote:
