Subject: Restuccia Enterprises Donation
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the donation from Restuccia Enterprises to fund half the purchase of newly redesigned police badges (donation: $1,981.74).
BACKGROUND:
The Police Department has received a donation to support the purchase of twenty-five (25) police badges for use by sworn personnel. Restuccia Enterprises has donated the funds to enable the department to purchases police badges. The department collaborated with V & V Manufacturing, Inc. to redesign the new badge, which will be issued to sworn staff.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total cost to purchase twenty-five (25) badges is in the not to exceed amount of $3,963.48 After the donation from Michael Restuccia, the fiscal impact would be $1,981.74 funded by the General Fund.
