City of Ripon
259 N. Wilma Ave
Ripon, CA 95366
Dear City Manager,
On behalf of the San Joaquin Partnership, I am pleased to reaffirm our strong and productive partnership with the City of Lathrop in advancing our shared mission of economic development, business attraction, and long-term regional prosperity.

Together, the Partnership and the City have built a proactive, results-oriented collaboration that prioritizes lead generation, targeted outreach, and the strategic marketing of Ripon’s most valuable assets. By aligning our efforts with the City’s vision for growth, we are effectively positioning Ripon as a destination of choice for employers, investors, and innovators alike.

Through coordinated marketing campaigns, national site selector outreach, industry trade shows, and one-on-one business development meetings, we continue to promote Ripon’s logistics connectivity, skilled workforce, and quality of life as key competitive advantages. These efforts have generated qualified leads and real opportunities that directly support the City's goals for economic diversification, job creation, and sustainable growth.

The Partnership remains committed to serving as an extension of the City’s economic development team—helping vet projects, convene stakeholders, and guide prospective companies through every phase of the site selection process.

Our collective success hinges on this spirit of collaboration, and we look forward to building upon this foundation to attract new industries and elevate Ripon’s economic potential.

Some key tools and opportunities are centered around Livability San Joaquin County Magazine, the CA Forward Economic Summit hosted in Stockton and our attendance to many of the conferences that are showcasing innovated products that would compliment our regions production and distribution capabilities.

Thank you for your continued partnership and commitment to moving Ripon forward.

Sincerely,
Bob Gutierrez

The San Joaquin Partnership was formed in 1992 as a public- private corporation with the mission of “leading a countywide competitive economic development partnership that improves the economy and quality of life by attracting investment that results in new or retained jobs.”
As the lead economic development agency for the county and our incorporated cities, we provide cost effective and collaborative economic development strategies and services to our region.

San Joaquin Partnership budgets, plans and executes a marketing and outreach program that increases awareness of the region and brings interested parties to our community that contribute to our growing economy. In addition, the San Joaquin Partnership assists the region in the retention and expansion of existing businesses and industry.

The Partnership is also engaged in the educational efforts to reskill and increase educational attainment of the workforce by collaborating with board members of the San Joaquin County WorkNet, Economic Development Association, iHub of San Joaquin, County Office of Education, Adult School Organizations, Delta College and other community educational institutes and organizations.

Our recent collaboration in the past year has led to the development of GO SJ, an industry training platform that provides access to existing programs and career opportunities
