MEMO
To: Honorable City Council
From: Spencer Schroen, Associate Civil Engineer
Date: 12/23/2025
Subject: Meadowood Subdivision Final Map
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the Final Map for the Meadowood Subdivision and authorize the Mayor, City Engineer and City Clerk to sign for recording.
BACKGROUND:
The Meadowood Residential Subdivision project was approved on February 13, 2018, to allow development of 88 single-family residences located west of Fulton Avenue. As a condition of approval, the Final Map was not to be recorded until all civil improvements, including off-site improvements, were completed and accepted by the City Council.
On October 14, 2025, the City Council approved the processing of the Meadowood Final Map to allow construction of 17 homes prior to acceptance of the civil improvements, subject to the condition that no sale agreements be executed until all required improvements have been accepted.
DISCUSSION:
The Meadowood Subdivision Final Map has since been submitted to the County for review and signature. The map has been signed by the County Surveyor and is now ready for the City’s signature. The Final Map subdivides the property in accordance with the tentative subdivision map approved by the City Council and complies with the requirements of the development agreement. Please contact the Deputy City Clerk at [email protected] to request a copy of the final map.
