Subject: EV Charging Station Project
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the work completed by Valley 29 Electric, LLC and authorize the filing of a Notice of Completion (NOC) with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office. A retention amount of $6,969.92 shall be withheld and will be payable no earlier than thirty-five (35) days after the recording of the Notice of Completion and no later than sixty (60) days from the date of Council acceptance.
BACKGROUND:
The project in general consists of the installation of two (2) electric vehicle (EV) chargers at the City of Ripon City Hall and five (5) EV chargers at the Corporation Yard. The EV Charging Station Project is complete and is in substantial conformance with the approved plans and specifications.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The retention amount of $6,969.92 will be funded through the Carbon Reduction Program (CRP) Grant.
