RE: City of Ripon Short Range Transit Plan - 2025-2035 Contract Amendment Dear Mr. Werner,
As you are aware, LSC is currently under contract with the City of Ripon to update the Short-Range Transit Plan. In order to develop a plan that most effectively addresses the City’s needs, the work performed has extended beyond the scope identified in the original agreement dated September 10, 2024. This additional work included:
• Attending the February 10th City Council meeting in-person to have a more productive and interactive discussion on the service alternatives with City Council members.
• Researching microtransit service models and cost estimates which are applicable to the City of Ripon. This included coordination and negotiation of a cost estimate with San Joaquin RTD to provide expanded Van Go service.
As noted in the table below, this additional work equates to 12 additional hours of LSC staff time or $4,340. As such, LSC proposes to increase the original contract budget amount to $76,560.
