Subject: Ripona Resurface Project
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Accept the work completed by Knife River Construction and authorize the filing of a Notice of Completion with the San Joaquin County Recorder’s Office. A retention amount of $77,900.96 shall be withheld and will be payable no earlier than thirty-five (35) days after the recording of the Notice of Completion and no later than sixty (60) days from the date of Council acceptance.
BACKGROUND:
The project in general consists of roadway surfacing on Ripona Avenue, Milgeo Avenue, Shasta Avenue, North Ripon Road, and other streets north of Highway 99 and south of Colony Road.
The Ripona Resurface Project is complete and is in substantial conformance with the approved plans and specifications.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The retention amount of $77,900.96 will be funded through the Streets and Roads Fund ($64,694.21) and the Streets and Roads Reconstruction Fund ($13,206.75).
