BID DESCRIPTION: The project consists of various traffic safety improvements such as the application of High Friction Surface Treatment along multiple street segments and installation of two (2) HAWK signals at multiple locations. The scope also includes implementation of Downtown traffic signal timing improvements to include the development of traffic signal timing coordination plans in Synchro using historic and new traffic volume counts, furnishing and installation of three (3) CCTV cameras and equipment, and furnishing and installation of twelve (12) 2070 controllers.

COMMENTS:
The Purchasing Division has evaluated all bids received and recommends award be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in compliance with Purchasing Resolution 23812. The Public Works Department concurs with this recommendation and will be submitting a report.
