ISSUE:
Consideration of Councilmember Cervantes to serve in place of Councilmember Edwards on the Economic Development, Placemaking and Branding/Marketing Committee to discuss a proposed mixed-use project on Successor Agency-owned vaca nt land located at 2731-2871 University Avenue.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council appoint Councilmember Cerv antes to serve in place of Councilmember Edwards on the Economic Development, Plac emaking and Branding/Marketing Committee to discuss a proposed mixed-use project on Successor Agency-owned vacant land located at 2731- 2871 University Avenue.
BACKGROUND:
On April 21, 2022, the Economic Development, Placemaking and Branding/Marketing Committee will be discussing a proposed single family residential development on Successor Agency-owned vacant land located at 2731-2871 University Avenue As these items affect constituents in Ward 2, it is recommended that Council member Cervantes substitute for Councilmember Edwards for this item only.
Councilmember Edwards concurs with the requested substitution.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact to the City General Fund as a result of the proposed action.
