REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL 2127 FOR CITYWIDE OUTDOOR DIGITAL MEDIA SIGNAGE
PROGRAM UPDATE
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Fierro and seconded by Vice Chair Cervantes to (1) receive and order filed an update on Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2127 for a Citywide Outdoor Digital Media Signage Program; (2) direct staff to issue separate request for proposals for: (a) a Digital Media Signage Program specific to City- owned land abutting freeways, and arterial roadway rights-of-way; and (b) a separate Digital Media Signage Program specific to City-owned pedestrian/bike rights-of-way, building/structures and/or other City-owned property near other nodes or corridors of activities; (3) provide a heat map that shows actual location of proposed sites with social demographics for City identified locations and locations provided by selected firm through RFP process; and (4) remove 3416 Central Avenue and Quail Run Park from City identified locations from the request for proposals. The motion carried unanimously.
