MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING ADOPTION OF A
CITY OF
RIVERSIDE MILITARY EQUIPMENT USE POLICY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that an in-person and virtual public hearing will be held on April 26, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as such matter can be heard, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Riverside in the Art Pick Council Chamber located at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, California 92522, and virtually by live webcast at www.riversideca.gov, at which time the City Council will consider the introduction of an Ordinance, adding Chapter 2.70 entitled "Military and Specialized Law Enforcement Equipment" to the Riverside Municipal Code related to the adoption of a Military Equipment Policy of the Riverside Police Department as well as the acquisition and use of specific law enforcement equipment, required pursuant to Assembly Bill 481 and California Government Code sections 7070 through 7075.
All interested persons may appear in person in the Art Pick Council Chamber at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, California, 92522 during the public hearing. Public comments are limited to three minutes per person.
