RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA FOR DESIGNATION OF CITY OFFICIAL TO EXECUTE MASTER AGREEMENT AND PROJECT SPECIFIC PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTS WITH STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR STATE-FUNDED PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of California (“State”) has enacted legislation by which certain State funds are made available for use on local transportation related projects of public entities qualified to act as recipients of these State funds; and WHEREAS, the City of Riverside (“City”) has applied to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and/or State for funding from the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) or other State-funded programs, as defined in the Local Assistance Program Guidelines (LAPG) for use on local authorized transportation related projects; and WHEREAS, before funding is made available to the City, the City and State are required to enter into a master agreement and subsequent project specific program supplements to establish terms and conditions applicable to the City when receiving state funds for a designated project; and WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to delegate to the City Manager, or his designee, the authority to execute all master agreements, program supplemental agreements, and any amendments thereto, made with the State.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, as follows:
Section 1: The City Manager, or his designee, is hereby authorized to execute Master Agreement Administering Agency-State Agreement for State-Funded Projects No. 08-5058S21, all Program Supplement Agreements to said Master Agreement, and any amendments thereto, for specific City projects which are to be funded with State funds. / /
