FIRST AMENDMENT TO
PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT

THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT ("First Amendment") is made and entered into this day of _, 2022, by and between the CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a California charter city and municipal corporation ("City"), and RISE INTERPRETING, INC., a California corporation ("Consultant"), with respect to the following:
RECITALS
WHEREAS the City and Consultant entered into that certain Professional Consultant Services Agreement dated November 18, 2021 ("Agreement"), for Annual Interpreting Services.
WHEREAS the Agreement is currently set to expire on June 30, 2022; and WHEREAS the City and Consultant desire to amend the Agreement to extend the term through June 30, 2023, and increase the contract amount of the Agreement to add additional compensation of Fifty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($58,400.00) during the extended term of the Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the recitals set out above, the parties hereto mutually agree to the following amendment to the Agreement.
Section 2, Term, is hereby amended to extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2023.
is hereby amended to increase the
compensation to Fifty-Eight Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($58,400.00) during the extended term of the Agreement. The total compensation of the entire term of the contract, including any options exercised, shall not exceed Two Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Dollars ($292,000.00).
3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement between the parties, which are not inconsistent with the terms of this First Amendment, shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
