SUBJECT: HOLIDAY MEETING SCHEDULE
ISSUE:
Cancel the Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and January 3, 2023, regular City Council meetings due to the holiday schedule.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meetings of Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and January 3, 2023, due to the holiday schedule.
BACKGROUND/LEGISLATIVE HISTORY:
On September 1, 2020, by Resolution No. 23618, the City Council unanimously approved setting the regular meeting schedule of the City Council as the first four Tuesdays of the month, except for the months of July, August, and September setting the meeting schedule for the first and third Tuesdays of the month. In ant icipation of holiday vacations and commitments, Mayor Pro Tem Fierro proposes that the City Council cancel the regular meetings of Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and January 3, 2023.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the cancellation of the City Council meetings on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, and January 3, 2023.
