RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21052 TO AMEND PARTS I AND II OF THE FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY PLAN, TO REFLECT VARIOUS UPDATES AND CHANGES IN CONNECTION WITH THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH THE SERVICE EMPLOYEES’ INTERNATIONAL UNION (SEIU) LOCAL 721 - GENERAL UNIT, THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH RIVERSIDE POLICE ADMINISTRATORS’ ASSOCIATION (RPAA) AND THE UNREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21052, the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Resolution was adopted by the City Council on October 4, 2005, and includes the Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan for said employees; and WHEREAS, various updates and additions to the Master Salary and Fringe Benefits Resolution have been proposed; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21052, the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan, must be revised to include the proposed changes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows:
Section 1: The Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan, Parts I and II, are hereby amended as follows:
To reflect the additions, revisions and/or deletions detailed in the City Council Memorandum dated September 20, 2022, regarding the Memorandum of Understanding with the Service Employees’ International Union (SEIU) Local 721 – General Unit, the Memorandum of Understanding with the Riverside Police Administrators’ Association (RPAA), and to reflect various updates and changes in connection with the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan for the Unrepresented Employees, as shown in Exhibits “A” and “B” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2: The provisions of this amendment shall be effective upon adoption and operative as set forth in Exhibits “A” and “B” as amended and attached hereto.
Section 3: Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to make minor, non-substantive changes to Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan and any related policies, procedures, or documents necessary to implement these provisions.
